Project Description
Blend the elegance of Eastern style with the neatness of Western interior design to energize the home. The contrasting elements, such as wood veneer in various tones, circles, and lines, large stone as well as metal pieces create a unique look. In the public area, the open and airy layout fosters movement and flow of residents, while the interplay of light and shadow adds depth and texture to the space. Meanwhile, as the shape of the ceiling changes, different fields are clearly defined. Despite its casual vibe, the space is actually very well thought out.
Upon entering the house, the metal openwork screen delineates the entryway from the rest of the space. The semi-transparent nature of the openwork screen enables it to partially obscure what’s behind, while letting light shine through, making it an apt solution for privacy needs. Decorated in Chinese-style rattan patterns, the openwork screen sets the theme of East-meets-West at the entrance.
Ink splashes on the marble TV wall add rich oriental vibes to the room. With curved edges on both sides, the wall in flowing ink patterns offers a sense of fluidity and movement.
