Project Description
Its tableland, climate, and red soil have created the best environment for growing tea, making it an attraction. Therefore, the Songboling Visitor Center is anchored as the "Tea Culture Theme Pavilion" and is expected to provide comprehensive tea knowledge and culture through interior renovation and route planning. This pavilion conveys the knowledge and connotation of tea through different forms of introduction. Visitors can read the text introduction yet experience the process of making tea themselves. After enjoying the delight of tea making, they can sip a cup of refreshing tea and reminisce about the century-old history of Taiwanese tea. The building was opened in 1996 and is now 25 years old. The interior service space has become old, so it has been completely converted into a “Tea Culture Theme Pavilion.” This project promotes tea culture to boost the tourism industry of the Songboling area and can provide more diversified and joyful content through integration with the local industry. In addition to enhancing the enjoyment of visitors, the Tea Culture Theme Pavilion can also benefit the local tea industry's economy.
