Serenity

A design that transcendences the time and era, a combination of modern and vintage styles, offers a romantic yet luxurious ambience and highlights the residents’ unique taste. The color palette is rather mature, with the dark brown and wooden texture, along with the artistic coatings on the walls, the designer successfully establishes a serenity of calmness and coziness. The curves in the soften the edges, and the lighting frames the space and adds depths to it, creating a sense of sophistication.

Knowing the residents, the designer put a world map on the sofa wall. With the wooden texture and the backlights highlighting the silhouette, the map becomes a center piece of the room. Moreover, the resident can put marks on places they’ve been to, making the map a more personal statement. Curves in the space soften the edges, establishing a fluidity that flows through the room. The round corners and handleless cabinets provide a safe environment for children to play freely. The lattice screen allows light to shine through, while elongates the sight and make the room seem bigger.
