Xindian Tsai House

As a traditional Taiwanese residential construction, this space is designed for parents of three children. Once entering the entrance, one can immediately see the living room and the kitchen extends the whole public space till the French window. While diverse patterns of stone materials are the basis of the public area, wooden shelving and textile functioned as details to soften the firm and steady spatial perception. Ingenious lighting design on the recessed ceiling makes the space a bit higher. As for the private space, the designer creates different vibes for each resident based on their personalities. It could be elegant and warm as the wooden material, dreamy and delightful as different light pinks are, or graceful and delicate as light violet colors. With trimmings and deep-buttoned leather as decoration, the private space's style can vary based on the user.

Since the owners are ready to retire, they wish to follow their heart and decorate the space based on their preference, creating a comfortable environment for the family. The female owner likes the romantic vibe of purple and elegance of crystal, so the private space is designed to be mysterious and elegant.
