Design Concept:
Spindrift is the spray blown from the cresting waves to the shore. While the ocean appears blue, it becomes white as it hits the shore and breaks before eventually merging into the sands. Likewise, human beings go through a similar process as they adapt to a new environment. Ten years may not be summarized into a few words, yet the house owner’s memories in Taiwan are ever fresh and eternal…

Design Description:
Multiple Layers of Change That Begin With a Light-Colored Base
The space is primarily painted with light colors and built of artificial stone. While the bathroom is built with off-white high-pressure decorative laminates, the areas that are more likely to be exposed to cooking fumes in the dining room and kitchen are built with gray-painted glass, quartz stone, and gray wood veneers, all of which together create spray-like layers of colors extending from the living room to the kitchen.
