Aesthetics of the Modern Forest

As this apartment building has as a medium to high price range, the design team uses the modern forest aesthetic style to meet the client’s expectation. The lobby design adopts an irregular facades and the divided ceiling to present the image of forest, using minimalist German-style floor to ceiling window to provide more indoor daylight and giving access to view the natural landscape outside. The front desk design uses an irregular-cut mass shape and arranged with marble finish to have a good correlation with the wall material. Various sizes of stone shaped couches are arranged in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, and together with the exterior landscape they form a natural Zen meaning. The overall design emphasizes functionality and practicality, pursuing simplicity and low maintenance also durability.
