ITMO University

In the next few years, ITMO University plans to build a large ITMO Highpark New Сampus located 17 kilometers south of St. Petersburg. The campus is to become the center of the yet unbuilt satellite city Uzhny and so far the biggest innovation center in St. Petersburg. ITMO is by far the best Russian university in the field of information and photon technologies and is ranked among the world’s top 100 best institutes specializing in information technology.The ITMO Highpark Campus will be a new chapter in the development of ITMO. The University’s ambition is to coordinate its educational and scientific activities with companies engaged in high-tech industries. The first part of the development is an Education zone or Campus, where education, administrative, research buildings, conference halls, students’ and academic staff residential accommodation, public spaces, social and public infrastructure facilities are located. The second part is the Innovation Centre, which includes a Business Incubator Centre, the Urban Centre and the Advanced Production Zone.
